Looking for the perfect double chocolate chip cookie recipe? Here it is. These cookies are the perfect snacking treat. They are delicious both straight out of the oven and the next day. They keep their gooeyness and are super tasty.
Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Ingredients
- 100g soft butter
- 50g sugar
- 100g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 170g plain flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150g chocolate chips (I use dark but you can use whichever you prefer)
How it’s done:
- Preheat the oven to 180C. Place baking parchment on your tray
- Cream the butter with the white and brown sugar until light and fluffy
- Gradually add the beaten egg and vanilla extract
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and carefully stir in
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Place teaspoons of mixture onto your baking tray. Make sure to keep each cookie 2 inches apart
- Bake for 10-12 minutes
- Leave on the sheet to cool for 5 minutes before placing them onto a wire rack
- Enjoy!
